Our Summer Reading Challenge has begun!

Kids ages 3 and up can sign up for our Reading Challenge beginning June 1, 2025.

1. Stop by and pick up a Reading Log (be sure to check out the back side of the form to see all of our great summer programs! Be sure that the person at the front desk signs you up, as we need to keep track of how many children participate!

2. Read 12 books (or have an adult read them to you) between June 1 and July 15.

3. Write your name and age on the challenge form. Don't lose your Reading Log paper -- you'll need it to win prizes!

4. Write down the titles and authors of the books you read.

5. Rate the books -- 1 star for just ok, 2 stars for better, 3 stars for pretty good and 4 stars for a book you loved!

6. Bring your Reading Challenge paper back to the library each week, or whenever you come to the library between June 1 and July 15. You will get to choose 1 prize per week!

7. We will check off the date(s) prizes were given.

8. After you have finished the challenge, bring your Reading Log back to the library and your name will be entered for a chance to win a new bicycle and helmet! Thank you to Eric Durgin and Greenleaf Lodge #117 for their donation of TWO bicycles, which will be awarded on Saturday, August 2!
