Bonney Memorial Library's Storytime Celebrates Dr. Seuss!

Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd was an absolute blast at Bonney Memorial Library! We dove into his whimsical world by sharing his enchanting stories, crafting our very own Cat in the Hat puppets, and donning those iconic red and white hats. The kids were thrilled with Dr. Seuss's hilarious book "Wacky Wednesday," eagerly spotting all the "wacky" surprises on each page. Dr. Seuss, or Theodor Geisel, was truly a remarkable figure. Theodor "Ted" Geisel (Dr. Seuss) was an incredibly prolific author, dazzling us with over 60 books, including the legendary *The Cat in the Hat*, a masterpiece created on a bet to use only 50 unique words. And can you believe it? His first book endured 27 rejections before he soared to success!
